Installation and maintenance of combustible gas detection systems to monitor hazardous environments. Early warning detection minimises risk in energy storage and industrial facilities.
Combustible gas detection is a critical safety layer in environments where flammable gases may be present, including BESS enclosures, battery storage rooms, industrial plant areas, and substation environments. Early detection of hazardous gas build-up allows automated intervention before conditions escalate to fire or explosion.
We design, install, commission, and maintain fixed combustible gas detection systems using catalytic bead, infrared, and electrochemical sensor technologies. Systems are configured to trigger alarms, ventilation, and suppression interfaces at pre-defined thresholds aligned to LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) percentages and site-specific risk assessments.
Our maintenance programmes include sensor calibration, bump testing, sensor replacement scheduling, and full system functional testing to ensure reliable, continuous monitoring. All work is documented to BS 60080 and applicable ATEX / IECEx requirements for hazardous area installations.
