Comprehensive room integrity assessments to ensure proper containment and system functionality. We verify seal integrity, pressure specifications, and leakage rates for optimal performance.
Room integrity testing is essential for any space protected by a gaseous fire suppression system. For the agent to work effectively, the room must hold the designed concentration for a sufficient duration, typically ten minutes. If the room leaks excessively, the suppressant escapes too quickly, rendering the system ineffective and putting critical infrastructure at risk.
Our room integrity testing service measures the leakage rate of your protected enclosure using fan pressurisation equipment calibrated to NFPA 2001 and ISO 14520 standards. We calculate the minimum and maximum vent sizes required to prevent over-pressurisation or under-pressurisation during discharge, and identify any seal or structural deficiencies that could compromise system performance.
Following each test, we provide a detailed integrity report with pass/fail certification, leak identification, and recommended remedial works. We also calculate the retained agent concentration over time to confirm your suppression system will perform as designed in a real fire event.
